What did you do?
I wanted to make a positive picture for my mum. I made this craft by using crafting tape and sponging on paint to make the blossom then added a lovely quote at the end.
My favourite thing about this activity was adding the blossom because it made the picture look pretty.
Do you have any other projects planned?
I’m always coming up with new art ideas. I love it!

Do you have any tips for other parents?
Always have a plan but if that plan doesn’t work out don’t beat yourself up! Always good to have ideas but there’s always another day! As long as the kids are smiling you’re doing a grand job!
What are your family’s favourite board game(s)/card game(s)?
We love dobble and the passport monopoly game the best! We also love a game of poker but only for sweeties of course.
What are your children’s favourite books?
Favourite books are definitely Julia Donaldson books. We love them also cat in the hat and my 8 year old (who is on the shorter side) loves chicken nugget as it reminds him of himself!
What toys would you recommend to other parents?
My 2 year old loves playing with little plastic figures from his favourite films! My older two are all about instruments and arts and crafts!
