Mandeep, who lives in Scotland, shares details of this lovely yarn flower vase, made out of a tin can.

I am the mother of two beautiful girls who are 3 and 6. My husband and I are both at home with our girls in this lockdown period. We live in beautiful Fort William in Scotland.

Here I am sending you some pictures of what I have made. I noticed that Stacey Solomon on Instagram made some pencil holders from cans of beans and she used twine.

For this project, I used yarn and made a flower vase. Then we made a beautiful pencil holder.

The girls loved it and they had super fun making it with me!

Things you will need:

  • Yarn/twine
  • Any tin can – make sure it is not sharp around the edges (for little hands)
  • Hot glue gun
  • You can also add some items from your craft box if you want

And also we have made this tree from twigs and flowers from toilet roll and used some craft stuff.
