Katie, from UK, sent in this great idea. Let’s take a look at it…

What did you do?

To make this cute little thank you card you’ll need –
β€’ white card (folded landscape)
β€’ red and green paper
β€’ a variety of coloured paints
β€’ glitter

1. Cut an apple and stem out of the coloured paper. You could use plain paper for this and support your child to colour them the appropriate colours! MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE A BITE MARK IN THE SIDE OF THE APPLE! 🍎
2. Stick your apple to the side of your folded card.
3. Support your little one to paint fingerprints coming from the bite to represent the body of a caterpillar πŸ›.
4. If you’re feeling crafty add glitter to your apple, or draw antennas and eyes onto your caterpillar with black pen.
5. Leave to dry et voila πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

This could be linked nicely to The Very Hungry Caterpillar if you used green and red paint for the caterpillars body!
