Sharon, from Liverpool, made this fantastic teddy lockdown “jail” storage. Let’s take a look at it…
What did you do?
Teddy lockdown 2020, a friendly jail to house all our teddies but are allowed out to play
I found the local diy shop cut the wood to the sizes for me and gave advice on the right length screws to buy as I knew the wood wouldn’t of been all the same lengths and it saved on time as I think it would of took me ages to saw, I got thicker wood for the base as that was gonna take the weight of the toys
Do you have any other projects planned?
I want to try and make some sort of frame on esmas wall for all her family pictures to go on but that she can swap and change herself.
Tell the Housebound With Kids community a bit about yourself…
My names sharon 51 and I’m from liverpool uk, I have 4 grown up sons and 4 grandchildren, my youngest granddaughter Esma lives with me she is 22 months.
How are you finding being housebound so far?
It’s been hard and tiring but so rewarding having 24/7 quality time together, we’ve started making stuff to pass some of the time away.
Do you have any tips for other parents?
Plenty of healthy snacks they can help prepare and store and it have lots of paper or even wallpaper on the inside, all children love doodling.
Has being part of our community helped you?
I’ve only just found it and it’s given me lots more ideas of things to do with Esma that I hadn’t thought of thanks
