My name is Zoe and I have 2 children (both girls). One 14 year old and one 5.
Me and the little one went on our daily walk to the brook at the back of where we live and collected sticks, initially to make a heart but then we decided a rainbow would be a little different.
I used a thin piece of wood and painted the background. We then selected our sticks and used a glue gun to arrange them in our arch shape.
Once dry, we painted them in rainbow colours. We also had some rainbow wrapping paper so I cut some of the rainbows out and stuck them around the background using pva glue.
Finally a few coats of varnish and it was ready to go!
