What did you do?
Rock Candy Science Experiment
Each rock Candy uses:
- 1 cup of water (boiled)
- 3 cups of sugar
Instructions:
- Add each cup separate and stir until completely dissolved.
- Set aside and let cool for 20-25 min.
- While letting cool down, make sticks.
- Dip sticks into water to wet the stick then dip it into the sugar.
- Optional -Add food coloring, and or flavor.
- Poor rock candy into glass.
- Then add the sugar stick (make sure the stick is 2 inches from the bottom or it will break off when taking them out).
- Observe and watch them form between 3-5 days
