Phillip, from Kent, spent time recycling his old shed. Doesn’t it look great!. Let’s take a look at it…
What did you do?
I had a damaged shed and needed to house my pond pump and filter.
I didn’t have a plan just an idea. All of the buildings were built using recycled wood, floor tiles and even old screws. These were built during my days off as a key worker.
As it was coming together I was able to adapt the roof and other parts to fit. The Windmill was built as a joke towards my Father Inlaw. The Sails do go round when the wind is in the right direction.
Do you have any other projects planned?
My next project is to build a working watermill for the pond.
My wife thinks I’m mad.
Tell the Housebound With Kids community a bit about yourself…
I am a father of 2 young children and we live in Kent in England.
How are you finding being housebound so far?
I am a key worker so my wife is at home full time with the children.
When I do get time off work I make sure that my wife gets a break so I take the children out for bike rides
Do you have any tips for other parents?
