Eve, from Farnham surrey, sent in this great idea. Let’s take a look at it…
What did you do?
We decided to re enact our favourite wedding photo as it was our 15th Wedding Anniversary. Instead of venturing to the church, we stood in our porch! We wore exactly the same outfits, I wore the same necklace, ear rings, tiara dress and shoes. My husband wore his wedding suit (it still has rose petal confetti in the pockets!) and tie. The only thing we couldn’t find were his shoes!
My daughter who is 11 took the photos for us! Then in the evening both girls cooked us dinner. Was a lovely day!
We tried to get the same positions that we had in the church entrance. Which I think we did quite well!
Tell the Housebound With Kids community a bit about yourself…
My name is Eve, I’m 42 and a barber, my husband Gary is 44 and a carpenter. We have been together 20 years, and married 15. We met on a blind date!
We have two children, Nancy is 11 and Belle is 8 and We live in Surrey.
How are you finding being housebound so far?
Lockdown had been hard work. Like everyone else, we have been trying to find fun things to do to, to make happy memories so we can look back at this time and smile.
