Buffy, from Melbourne, Australia, made Rapunzel hair. Let’s read on…
What did you do?
I started making these woollen hair accessories by accident. They were supposed to be hair for a unicorn project, but Miss 3 loved them so much she claimed them for herself!
They are quick and easy to make. All you need is some wool. I used pink and yellow for this one. I cut long strips of wool until I felt the thickness would be right and then I simply plaited it together and tied the ends. I used a hair tie to turn it into a headband/crown and long plait.
Miss 3 is obsessed with her colourful long hair. I really need to make these in different colours to match her outfits! We might also try adding flowers and gemstones next time.

How are you finding being housebound so far?
I thought I’d go crazy being cooped up at home so I started an Instagram account to find and share play ideas. It’s been a blast and is definitely keeping me busy and inspired!
