Nichola made her daughter’s clock puzzle a bit trickier than it normally is. Let’s see what she did…
Tell us about it…
We started this activity by threading our basket together.
I then added in all her pieces from her clock puzzle and laid out her clock.
She must have thought it was too easy and wanted a challenge because she then went and dumped all of her pretend fruit and vegetables into the basket.
At this stage, I thought the activity was over…. oh how wrong I was! E went and found the pieces she needed even with everything else in there!
As you can see, she knows to disregard the fruit and chooses the puzzle pieces.
She selects the star, as she always does. She knows this is the start and the easiest piece. Then to my surprise, she selects the same coloured piece. She always looks for the colours first before the shape.
Tell us a bit about yourself…
I’m a teacher with a child of 23months.
How are you getting on in the house?
Feeling positive during lockdown but like everyone have my down days. It’s important to stay active and busy, especially with a little one. Bored children are not happy children.
I started an Instagram called mummy_and_e with lots of play and activities ideas for toddlers to try and help anyone feeling alone or at a loss during this difficult time.
I am very lucky to have my husband who supports me through everything.
