Helen. from the UK, enjoyed watching her son, Finley, redecorate his PS4 controller. Let’s see what he did…
What did you do?
IMPORTANT: Please ensure that the materials and technique you are using are not going to damage the PS4 controller.
One day my son had an idea of decorating his ps4 controller. I said that nail varnish would be best to use and I found lots of my old bottles that were colourful.
Finley covered up the rubber buttons with masking tape and splattered it with the brushes from the bottle on the grass, letting it dry.
He has since done the same to a panel of the box (taking it apart 1st). Fin would like to do the same to his sliders and trainers soon.
Tell us a bit about yourself and your family…
We are a family of 4. My husband Gary is working from home. I’m (Helen) on short-time work, ( partly for the NHS). We have 14-year-old son Finley and 10-year-old daughter Ava, who really enjoy gaming.
The Housebound with Kids website catalogue is a lovely idea, I’ll enjoy looking through it.
Do you have any tips for other parents?
The best way to cope with lockdown is keeping busy, every day do something different. I’ve been decorating the house, the kids are getting on with school work, gaming and chatting to friends a lot. We also go for regular walks and baking with the kids helps too.
