Liz shows us how to make some fancy pine cone creations.
Step by step instructions:
- Using PVA glue, insert cotton wool into the gaps of a pine cone. Making sure it’s completely covered.
- Add googly eyes first to start the face.
- Using house objects, decorate your pine cone. I used pipe cleaners for making the hats and glasses.
- Optional clay feet to stabilise your pine cone.

Forest school fitness for fun. This promotes fun exercises for children to follow which also gives them vital safety awareness around a fire.
How are you finding being housebound?
I’m currently at home with my daughter and husband. We are making the most of our time at home, thinking of different ways to entertain ourselves as a family.

Having different interests can really help as this provides something for you all talk about at the end of the day.
