Louise, from Brighton, is using her extra time to create some fantastic photography end editing work. Let’s take a look.
What did you do?
I’ve been using my son and our dog as photography models to practice my Photoshop composites. I also want positive keepsakes we can keep to look back on at this strange time.
Working with children and animals is definitely as hard as they say. Bribery with sweets and gravy bones helps with them both.
Tell us a bit about yourself…
My name is Louise. I’m 41 & live in Brighton in the UK. I work part-time in an office and also run a photography business in my spare time. My partner Paul and I have a 6 year old son Teddy and a one-eyed dog Bertie who are keeping me sane during lockdown. I would like to swap from photographing families and children to doing more fantasy work like this but have plenty more learning to do first.
We are taking lockdown one day at a time. I pretty much gave up strict homeschooling but we do plenty of reading, crafting and baking together.
Do you have any tips to help others who are housebound?
My tip to keep sane during this is don’t be hard on yourself. Just keeping yourself and family happy and safe is the most you can wish for.
Has the Housebound with Kids community helped?
I’m loving this ideas community. Whenever I struggle to think of something to do I can scroll through and choose a new idea.
