Vicky, from North Wales, shows us how to make paper dolls with the kids.
How did you make the paper dolls?
- Get paper and fold it (concertina style)
- Draw an outline of a person – make sure that you connect the arms at the edge of the paper as this will create the chain
- Cut around the person
- Unfold the paper
- Colour in the people
- Repeat as much as you want
- You can sellotape all of the paper dolls together
- Hang the artwork up somewhere at home
All my kids love decorating the dolls, doing funny expressions, and cool outfits.
A little bit about yourself…
My name is Vicky and I created “Housebound with Kids”. I am married to Gareth. We have 4 children aged 8 (boy), 6 (girl), 4 (boy) & 2 (girl).
Any tips for others in the same situation?
Be kind to yourself. Know that however your day is going, you are doing a good job (even if it doesn’t always feel that way) xxxx
I love the Housebound with Kids community. So many fantastic craft and activity ideas. It’s a space where we can connect, laugh, and support each other.
