Lianne, from Manchester, created these lively little number postboxes to help to teach her children about numbers. Let’s take a look at them…
What did you do?
Using up old toilet rolls, the children painted them & we created little post boxes to learn numbers in a fun way.
Different levels for different ages, 2 & 4
Copying numbers
Counting the spots
Making simple sums to post
Do you have any other projects planned?
Taste testing – we are going to get some new foods and do some blind taste testing.
Tell the Housebound With Kids community a bit about yourself…

Daughter Hattie aged 4
Son Dax aged 2
How are you finding being housebound so far?
It has been better than I expected, we have up and down days – as long as I keep the children occupied with plenty of activities.
Do you have any tips for other parents?
I found structure has really helped and the children have responded well to knowing when is free play and when it’s an activity set.
Has being part of our community helped you?
Sharing each other’s ideas is great as it can give you something you would never have thought of or something you know your child will love to do.
