Shilpa, from Bangalore, India, sent in this great nature paintbrushes idea. Let’s take a look at them…
What did you do?
We made nature paintbrushes.
Not all classrooms have 4 walls.
There is a world outside it too; which our little ones with curious minds need to explore.
To connect with nature sometimes we need to go amongst the nature and feel it’s rawness.
For this activity we just went on a nature walk, collected many interesting natural materials like leaves ,dried grasses , twigs etc.
Wade paintbrushes with it and we were ready to roll, just add some paint and paper.
Most importantly we enjoyed the process.
Because sometimes it is not about the end result, but the journey itself.
So have fun, get messy and explore!
Do you have any other projects planned?
We have planned some great paper craft work ahead. Also some recycling DIY activities.
