What did you do?
This activity was for a family quiz night on Zoom (a video conferencing software tool). For this activity, we just used things we had around the house. Used shaving foam for the Mrs Doubtfire video. Flour for the scarface photo and the rest are self-explanatory.
We are currently trying to think of new films to act out for next time it’s our turn to host. We will be sure to let you know.
Tell us a bit about yourselves
Our names our Steven and Lauren. We have 2 children Olivia 12 (too cool to be involved with this, haha) and Oscar 2 (Loved being involved).
How are you finding life at the moment?
Lockdown has it’s up and down days. We are both keyworkers so still working and work opposite shifts so on the rare occasion we all get a full day off together we have been making the most of it. Our little boy loves to be active but gets bored quite easily and with minimal places to go for a walk we thought we would try something different and he loved it. Kept him entertained for a lot longer than 5 minutes.
Do you have any tips to share?
If I was to give any tips it would be to keep the activities changing although we are probably all struggling to keep our kids entertained at this time and just doing our best to get through this bad time.
