Do you want to make your home appliances come to life? Ideal for Halloween. We show you how to make your own fridge monster!
Thanks to Lizzy, from Mold in North Wales, for sending in this great fridge monster idea. Let’s take a look at it…
What did you do?
We made a fridge monster! You will need two paper plates, some coloured card, glue and glitter.
– Draw around a circular object from around the home to create the two circles for the eyes.
– We then used two glittery circular shapes we had from a craft set but could easily draw round a smaller circular object to create the same effect for the pupils.
– Stick the circles in position in the centre of each paper plate.
– Draw around the outside of the larger circle with a black pen and then draw straight lines all the way around the pupil to join the outer circle to the inner circle.
– We used Elmer’s glue to create some squiggly lines around the outside of the plate.
– Sprinkle red glitter onto the glue to create the bloodshot spooky eye look.
– Stick the eyes on to the fridge door and add a mouth (we printed off the computer but you could easily make you own).
The glitter!! We love glitter!

My name is Lizzy and I’m from Mold, North Wales. I have a 2-year-old little boy called Cole and a 5-year-old stepson called James. James has always loved doing crafts and Cole is getting there slowly but he’d much rather be playing with his Duplo!
