Rebecca, from Kent, redesigned her son’s nursery. Doesn’t it look fantastic! Let’s take a look at it…
What did you do?
Lockdown has been hard for many of us, we wanted to make the most of the time we had together and got to work on our Son’s nursery!
I’m currently 24 weeks pregnant with our rainbow baby and wanted this room to be extra special, so I decided to do a free hand feature wall painting,
After 3 days of hard work and all the love possible put into it.. It’s now finished! It’s just something i have created just for him!
This was a really cheap project for me to complete! I used a couple of matt wall paints and adding some glitter to some areas, I also used just metallic acrylic paints and black and white acrylics for all the detail!
Do you have any other projects planned?
My daughter loved it that much that we have her room to do next! She is very excited for her own creation from her mummy!
Tell the Housebound With Kids community a bit about yourself…
My name is Rebecca. I am from kent, UK.
I’m 28 years old, I am a support worker for adults with challenging behaviour, but currently isolating due to being at risk category during pandemic. I have a 5 year old daughter; Orla and my husband; Wayne, we are currently 24 weeks pregnant with our rainbow baby and due September!
How are you finding being housebound so far?
Its has been difficult at times not being able to see family and friends especially during my pregnancy which is a time we should be able to share our experiences, however we have made the most of the situation enjoying it together as family and it is a time I will always remember and be grateful for.
Do you have any tips for other parents?
