Lauren, from SW Scotland, sent in this great leaf threading idea. Let’s take a look at it…
What did you do?
We did leaf threading. We went into the garden to pick some leaves and find a small stick to act as a needle.
This was a lovely calming activity that we all enjoyed.
It develops:
- Fine motor development skills
- Develops eye-hand coordination
- Concentration skills.
The simplicity of the set up and how calming it was when we were doing it.
Tell the Housebound With Kids community a bit about yourself…
I’m a mum of two boys age 3 and 5 and primary teacher with 12 years experience. I enjoy creating activities and tuff trays suitable to pre school children.
