What did you do?

We read the story about the hungry caterpillar and then we made a hungry caterpillar.

What you will need:

  • Wooden spatula
  • Green pom-poms
  • Red pom-pom
  • Googly eyes
  • Glue

Instructions:

We made the caterpillar using a wooden spatula and pom-poms by sticking them to the stick and then popped some eyes on him.

What did you do next?

We then painted all the foods counting how many the caterpillar had eaten and then put all the days of the week over the foods. We then made him into a butterfly using a wooden spatula and cardboard for his wings

This was another easy craft to do with minimal materials used great craft to promote counting and days of the week.
