Praja from Scotland, and her daugher enjoy painting nature in the garden. Lets read on…
What did you do?
This is a great idea (and time killer!) for your budding artist 🙂 My daughter is 4 years old, and loves drawing and colouring in. To jazz things up a bit I set up make-shift easel (her magnet board) with a blank sheet of paper. On a stool beside it I arranged her water colours and a palatte, with two paintbrushes in a jar of water.
When I introduced the scene / activity to her that morning the gleeful expression on her face was priceless!
It helped to start off the activity with her. Watching me, she soon caught on what the concept was about and free-styled it from there on.
This activity could work with any scene or object set in front of them.
