Donna talks to us about this nice paper flower craft activity for her little one. Let’s take a look…
Items you need for this craft:
- Coloured paper
- Soil
- Plastic cups
- Wooden spatula
- Seeds (we used mustard, poppy and fennel seeds)
- Paint
- Scissors
- Glue
Instructions:
- I drew a flower
- cut out the numbers 1 to 10
- cut out the plant parts
- placed them in a bowl
- put the numbers 1 to 10 around the petals
- pick from the bowl the correct numbers and place them over the petals
I left boxes blank with arrows to label the correct parts of the flower.
We then painted a wooden spatula and drew a flower which I then cut out to stick to the spatula.
We popped the seeds in first then the soil then planted the craft flower into the plastic cup.
This was a lovely activity that Sofia really enjoyed. It helps with learning to count and science about a flower
