Katie, from Surrey, sent in this egg-cellent idea. Let’s take a look at it…
What did you do?
Save your egg shells, when you crack try to open near the top of the egg to give a fuller shell.
Stick a large piece of paper, paper roll or old wall paper on an out door place (some where you don’t mind getting paint splattered).
Throw the eggs at the paper.
Refill as many times as you can.
Surprisingly you can reuse the shells a few times, just put some more paint in each shell, as many times as you can.
The activity is for 3 plus years as the child needs to be able to throw the egg with a little force.
Tell the Housebound With Kids community a bit about yourself…
I’m a mum of 2 girls, age 1 and 10. Always on the look out for activities for both ages that I can adapt to each of them.
