Nikita, from India, shows us her rainbow puzzle. Let’s take a look at it…
What did you do?
I painted a rainbow on a cardboard and cut it colour wise for my child to join the pieces together and make a rainbow!
I first introduced rainbows to my child a few months back and once she was aware of the colours and the design then i introduced the puzzle. This way it was easy for her to do it.
Tell the Housebound With Kids community a bit about yourself…
I am Nikita here from India. I have a 26 month old daughter. I am homeschooling her and we do activities according to her interests and curiosity. I believe that playing is a great way for learning and stimulating a child. We follow her lead and plan activities accordingly.

How are you finding being housebound so far?
I loved your Housebound with Kids Instagram page and amazing activities that you have put together. It is inspiring and helped me find more accounts like mine.
Do you have any tips for other parents?
A child requires appropriate stimulation else they become bored or frustrated. Setting up simple play and playing along with them is a great way to learn with kids and have some amazing memories in the process. Also observing your child is a great way to know what kind of activities will be enjoyed and needee by your child.
Has this website and community helped you?
