What did you do?
We were hoping to get a professional cakesmash photoshoot done for our daughters first birthday but due to coronavirus that was impossible, so we decided to try our own.
I bought a huge celebration cake from Aldi and added some extra icing and a cake topper, blew up some balloons and popped a big sheet on the floor.
I ordered her little handmade bloomers and A headband and we just had fun with it!
Do you have any other projects planned?
A mud kitchen. And some resin alphabet letters.

How are you finding being housebound so far?
We’re doing okay, keeping busy and providing my daughter with lots of activities to keep her stimulated.
Do you have any tips for other parents?
Do something everyday. Anything at all. Doesn’t need to be big or fancy but just something to break the routing everyday is good.
Has this website and community helped you?
I love seeing all the ideas people are coming up with and being creative. I work in a nursery too so I love being able to note things down and share them with others aswell.
