Anne, from Staffordshire, sent in this great idea. Let’s take a look at it…
What did you do?
We used a box from a flower arrangement and the dried oasis inside, to hold the sticks up. You could use polystyrene as an alternative, a pint glass or a vase could also be used. The sticks we used were kebab sticks, attaching the chocolate with cellotape.
Be aware that the kebab sticks are sharp. Think it will look better if we put some tissue paper around the sticks in the box.
Do you have any other projects planned?
Big bubble mixture, I’m yet a find a formula that works well.
Tell the Housebound With Kids community a bit about yourself…
My name is Anne, I have two girls aged 14 and 10. We live in North Staffordshire. I run my own educational support business.
How are you finding being housebound so far?
Feel very grateful that we are all safe at home. Some days we achieve some days not so much.
Do you have any tips for other parents?
Don’t try to achieve to many things to do in a day. Then anything you do achieve is a bonus.
Has being part of our community helped you?
Great way of sharing ideas.
