Tell the Housebound With Kids community a bit about yourself…
My name is Leah-Ann, i have two children aged 9 and 14. We live in the UK. We’ve always enjoy doing occasional baking but we’ve never done cakes like these and decorate them as much has we have during lockdown.

How are you finding being housebound so far?
To begin with it found it hard, we had no routine. We was down because we didnt know how long this would before. My teenager son just thought great I can play on my xbox all day and hide in my room. My daughter was unsure and anxious. But we built up a routine and we got into it.
We take family walks with the dog and my daughter rides her pony. Now I think about before lockdown I think life was getting in the way. But over lockdown we have reconnected again.
Do you have any tips for other parents?
Make it all as fun as possible.
