Daisy, from Essex, flew in this great idea. Let’s take a look…
What did you do?
My son’s topic from school was ‘Julia Donaldson’, after reading ‘Room on the Broom’ we gathered sticks on our morning walk – a variety of sizes including 1 long stick to act as the broom handle. We wove the sticks to the end of the broom handle with garden string tieing it as tight as I could. This then provided hours of fun as we linked in potions, wand making, broom stick flying etc
It was hard to tie the sticks together but in the end it worked!!
Do you have any other projects planned?
Our next projects include:
Science experiments
Scarecrow making
Den building
Baking
Tell the Housebound With Kids community a bit about yourself…
Hello my names Daisy, I have 2 gorgeous boys who are 3 and 5. We live in Essex. I love coming up with ideas for the boys. @warrior_mummy_fenwick
How are you finding being housebound so far?
I’m really enjoying being at home with the children. This time is so precious.
I used to work in a Pre School, a Montessori and also was a nanny so I’m loving this!!
Do you have any tips for other parents?
The children are learning more than you know!
Has this website and community helped you?
