What did you do?
My daughter wanted to make a swimming pool for her Barbies and swimming costumes for her Barbies to wear.
We made a swimming pool by covering a shoebox in wrapping paper, adding a diving board made of card and my daughter painted the inside of the box blue for the water.
I had seen online a post about making Barbie clothes and swimming costumes from balloons, so we thought we’d give it a go! The Barbies had a variety of swimming costumes and bikinis….!
It was quite fiddly to make the swimming costumes, to begin with, but once I’d cut a few it got easier! It was better to use smaller balloons and stretch them than use bigger balloons as they were too loose when they went on the doll.
