What did you do?
We made a homemade pub for my Daughter Rosie’s 18th Birthday.
The bar was made from 2 pallets, a piece of flooring from a skip, a few hinges, and some wood stain we already had!
We sourced a lot of other items from a local pub and online.
It all worked so well. It is a portable bar, it folds up and is stored in the garage.
Because of that we had to put the optics on a different post.

My name is Victoria, my Brother in law Anthony helped with the construction of the bar. My Husband Simon brought a lot of the other bits. I have 2 children Rosie 18 and Alexander 8! We live in the UK. I am a key worker so have been working hard, it was a lovely project and fun to do.

How are you finding being housebound so far?
My Husband and I are both Key Workers so it’s been a mixed bag for us. My Son has been going to school on the odd day. It’s not been too bad.
Do you have any tips for other parents?
Just do what you can do! Never listen to anyone else, we are all very different.
