Try this color shadow dinosaur activity idea. Children (and adults) will love the beautiful colorful dinosaur shadows that you can create at home.
Thanks to Gina, from the USA, who sent in this great colorful dinosaur idea. Let’s take a look at it…
What did you do?
I used an exacto knife to cut dinosaur shapes out of a cardboard box! Then, I cut small shapes out from the inside of each dino. After that was done, I used different colored cellophane and taped it to the back of the cutouts. The last step is simple- take them outside & chase the sun!! When the light shines through it makes a magical shadow! These colorful dinosaurs are big & bright & beautiful & so fun to explore!!
I loved watching my kiddos as they spent the day chasing the sun & the shadows & the lights. It was magical to watch.
