What did you do?
We are doing a simple DIY activity by making the t-shirt folding board.
It’s really simple to make & helps your child learn a daily chore of folding T-shirt’s.
This was a super fun activity and Sia was amazed that she could do this so easily.
You will need cardboard and you need to cut in 3 big parts and one small (directed in the video how to do it )
Sia (my daughter) loved this idea. She then washed this clothes in some old box as a pretend play washing machine (need to make DIY machine now) and then again folded them with our folding board.(This went for Good 30-40 mins play).
You can add different colour t-shirts and ask your kid to name the colour of the tshirt.
Why is it important to share responsibilities at home from an early age?
It is very important to make them learn about house hold chores at an early age. This will make them independent and learn new things .
Can toddlers do Chores??
Yes they definitely can!
– Put Dirty clothes in the laundry basket
– Clean up their play area
You can make your kid learn this small things at home but most importantly – make it fun for them!
Do you have any other projects planned?
I always try to introduce new things to my daughter in and easy and fun way. We are now trying to get my little one learn new sight words.

Do you have any tips for other parents?
You just need to give your time to your kids without any gadgets around at least for an hour in which you can make them learn any new thing of their choice. Your time is what they always wants and as a parent we should try to give them as much as possible.
What are your family’s favourite board game(s)/card game(s)?
We love UNO cards..they are really good for kids to learn numbers, colours and counting.
What are your children’s favourite books?
We love Eric Carle books (the hungry caterpillar, the tiny seed, polar polar bear what to you hear). We also love Julia Donaldson books (10 story books)
What toys would you recommend to other parents?
Puzzles, story books, colourful balls, shape sorter, nesting Eggs, Stack cups. Animal figures, mega blocks.
