Crystal, from Athens, Greece, sent in this great recycling play idea. Let’s take a look…
What did you do?
Meet Trashman! (The villain). The good fairy “Cleany” and her friends battle to protect the environment. Simply take an empty plastic water bottle and glue on it the bodyparts you draw. For the head just stick it on a straw which you will place as normal inside the bottle and it will rotate like a 360° head!
Kids loved the whole idea, especially the boys who wanted for once not to create the ‘good guy’ but the horrible villain. They even made him like Joker! The girls were the ones to do the “Cleany” good ‘fairy’ who protects the environment from Trashman. It’s worth saying that it’s all made of recyclable and cheap material.

How are you finding being housebound so far?
I’m not being in such a condition since I don’t have my own kids but I’ve been teaching kids everyday for the last 13 years.
Do you have any tips for other parents?
See the world around you. Give importance to the tiniest and most trivial things. Also LISTEN to your own and your kids’ instinct and… follow your heart! You can and you will do wonders! Just enjoy yourselves!
