Arouge, from Manchester, made this lovely wooden peg fairy. Read on for more details…
What did you do?
Today we made a wooden peg fairy.
Things you will need are:
- wooden pegs
- knitting wool
- craft card: we used black as that’s what we had at home
- pom pom makers ( Poundland or The Range are the cheapest, I’m using the one from The Range)
- double-sided tape to attach the wings
Instructions:
- Make the pom-poms and tie on the wooden peg.
- Use felt tip pens to colour the body and make a face
- Cut wing shapes from the card
- Decorate how you like
- Stick at the back of the peg using double-sided tape

My name is Arouge. I’m from Manchester. I am currently working full time plus more as a medical researcher from home with my two kiddies, girl age 6 and a boy age.
I am struggling to make time for the kids but do try to do at least 1 activity per day.
