Kim, from Chester, England, and her husband John, celebrated their 10 year anniversairy in style during lockdown. Let’s take a look at it…
What did you do?
As our original plans to celebrate our wedding Anniversary were unable to happen I decided to Email our wedding venue to see if we could use their grounds for a picnic And to take some pictures with our three children. I was thrilled that the venue said yes!
We took a big blackboard and wrote “10 years on on it” and took some photos of us and the children . We even re-enacted a few of the wedding pictures and the children loved doing this and seeing where mummy and daddy had their special day. Our 7 year old daughter Suraya took The pictures and think she did quite well.
We then had a lovely restaurant meal at home later once the children were in bed
It went as well as it could. The weather wasn’t quite as good as it had been recently so we didn’t stay there that long which is what we had originally planned.

How are you finding being housebound so far?
Alright but John and I are both key workers so juggling work, childcare and home schooling is a challenge
